Being able to access email and files from outside the office or from home is, for many people, the key to working successfully.  Without remote access, it is difficult to stay in touch, share information or work on the hoof or from home.

A VPN connection is the most secure way to connect as it creates an encrypted path between you and the office network.  Once you are connected there are a variety of ways to access your email, files, and even your own desktop.
